Evans & Tate Classic Sparkling arrives in time for Spring Racing!

Evans & Tate - Classic

We are very excited to release a new sparkling from the Classic range, the Classic Margaret River Chardonnay Pinot Noir NV.

Sourced from premium parcels of Margaret River Chardonnay and smaller amounts of Pinot Noir fruit, this wine is one of only a few sparkling wines to come out of the region.

Evans & Tate has been blending fruit sourced from the best parts of the celebrated Margaret River wine region since 1974. We first released the iconic Classic White in 1987 and it has since developed in to an entire range of popular, award-winning wines.

Senior Evans & Tate Winemaker Matt Byrne says the new sparkling offering is an exciting new venture for the Margaret River winery.

“I have always loved Margaret River Chardonnay in particular, and crafting this wine from the traditional varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has been very exciting. By aligning it with the highly recognisable Classic range, it thrills me to think there could be many more people enjoying this wine with me.”

The wine displays fresh citrus fruits and almond biscuit flavours, along with crisp acidity and a fine bead driving a long and refined finish.

The Classic Margaret River Chardonnay Pinot Noir NV is released just in time for Spring Racing and the holiday season, so you can celebrate with a sparkling from Australia’s favourite Margaret River winery! It is available at our new online Cellar Door.

      Hi Michael,

Unfortunately, we have not made Zamphire for about 2 or 3 years and the product is no longer available. If you’re looking for something which is fruit-driven similar to Zamphire, may I suggest Henkell Trocken which is a German sparkling wine. We have it available at our Online Cellar Door by the case or you can pick some up from your local liquor outlet.
