Evans & Tate - Jazz by the Bay

Last week we held the annual ‘Jazz by the Bay’ Event at the Evans & Tate Redbrook Cellar Door and the event was a huge success.

With visitors from the Margaret River,  Perth and elsewhere in the country, the lawn at Evans & Tate was full of picnic blankets and fold up chairs.

The amazing “Powerhouse Jazz Band” were in fine form as always and their funky tunes had a lot of the guests on their feet and dancing.

Kids enjoyed a range of activities, including face painting and competitions- they were even let loose with chalk to decorate the wine barrels.

There was also a range of food options on offer, with local chef extraordinaire Saul Atkinson turning out fantastic wood fired pizzas and Fal from Spice Journey keeping everyone fed with his amazing curries.

Cellar Door Manager Richard Morrant says the event was a great day of fun for the whole family.

“in its second year Jazz by the Bay is fast becoming a highlight of the Evans & Tate Calendar and 2014 was no exception. The Powerhouse Band were amazing, the food was delicious and the company was terrific, with everybody enjoying the chance to let their hair down and have some fun. And of course, the Evans & Tate wines were flowing!”

The annual Jazz by the Bay festival brings together venues and events all over the Dunsborough region and is quickly becoming the fixture of the year not to miss.
