Evans & Tate - Redbrook

We have confirmed our place as one of the top Margaret River wineries with some terrific results at the recent round of wine shows.

Senior Winemaker Matt Byrne says that the results are an appreciated recognition of the hard work that goes into making the Evans & Tate range.

“It’s always nice to get medals, because it just confirms that you are on the right track with your winemaking process. We have a lot of faith in the quality of our wines, and the integrity of our winemaking process, but it’s reassuring to know that everybody else agrees.”

-At the Perth Wine Show, Evans & Tate were awarded 15 medals, including gold medals for the 2011 Redbrook Chardonnay and the 2010 Redbrook Cabernet Sauvignon.

-At the Riverina Wine Show, Evans & Tate received a total of 10 medals, including gold medals for the 2011 Pemberton Chardonnay and the 2010 Metricup Road Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2011 Pemberton Chardonnay also received a Trophy for Best Chardonnay over 1 year old. It is available exclusively at our Margaret River Redbrook Cellar Door and at our new online Cellar Door.

Matt says that Evans & Tate continue to be one of Margaret River’s most popular and respected wineries.

“It’s reassuring to know that we are enjoying success at both a critical and popular level. We’re continuing to bring in awards and receive the appropriate recognition for the portfolio, and we’re also still Australia’s favourite Margaret River winery. It’s a testament to the quality of the whole range, from the Flagships down to the more popular styles.”
