The spirit of the Margaret River lifestyle is impossible to ignore as you take a stroll through the vines, relax next to the crackling open fire or soak up the panoramic views of the vineyards from the alfresco deck.

“…to live and to work in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, sharing wines that speak a story of who we are, is my privilege…”
Richard Morrant, Cellar Door Manager

The Evans & Tate Redbrook Cellar Door captures the charismatic spectrum of variety that Margaret River has to offer. From the deck of the Cellar Door, you survey a landscape of vineyards that have yielded vintages for over 40 years, and vines that had been planted in the earliest days of the wine region.

Kangaroos hop in and out of the rows of vines and in the distance, from the other side of the National Park, the pounding of waves on the coastline is just audible.

To complement the inspired scenery, the current vintage of most of the Evans & Tate range are available for tasting. Under the stewardship of Cellar Door Manager Richard Morrant, the team will talk you through the subtleties of the wines and styles. This includes the Cellar Door range, which is an exclusive snapshot of winemaker Matthew Byrne’s passion and love for Western Australian wines.

For those thirsty for more information, the two Vintage Rooms capture a chronological development of the Evans & Tate wines, including samples from as early as the 1970’s. Here, surrounded by bottles as old as the Margaret River wine industry, you can feel the gravitas of the legacy established by John Evans and John Tate.

These are just a few of the positive reviews of our Cellar Door on TripAdvisor:

“Experienced wine tasters congratulate Evans and Tate.”

Reviewed April 28, 2013

The cellar staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and open to discussion of all their wines and what the region had to offer. Their generous and informative tasting operations were most professional and genuinely friendly. As seasoned wine tasters from South Australia, having shared many fine experiences from the Coonawarra, McLaren Vale, Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek regions Evans and Tate were, very fairly, up amongst the best. We specifically thank Lyn for her warm, welcoming nature, especially with our two young boys, and complement her on her enthusiastic and passionate presentation of Evans and Tate Wines and the Margaret River Wine region, she is a tourism gem to Western Australia. We will be buying Evans and Tate Wines for a long time to come because of this positive, wine tasting experience. Trent and Liz Wickers, South Australia.

“Most welcoming and friendliest winery we visited.”

Would recommend a visit. Really friendly welcoming staff. We had a great time here and it was only meant to be a quick visit but stayed and chatted and laughed. The wine is pretty good too.

“Awesome Tasting”

Easily the best tasting I have had. A great variety of wines, informative and friendly assistance. What I love about E&T is that they have a range only available at the cellar door, which makes it worth the visit.

“Definitely worth a visit”

Being one of the larger and well-known wineries in Margaret River, I had been reluctant to make a stop here, preferring instead the smaller, homelier wineries. This was a stop on our Bushtucker Tour and I was pleasantly surprised. The winery itself looks gorgeous, and had a great outlook over the vines. A big plus for a winter’s visit is the fireplace! A wide selection of wines for tasting, with prices to cater for all budgets. The service was also friendly and helpful. In addition, you can also visit Pukara Estate and try a range of vinegars and oils. We bought a few bottles here and will plan to visit again next time.
